Meet Jess Bailey (she/her)

Trauma-Informed Therapy • Spiritual Trauma & Deconstruction • Somatic & Relational Work • Whole-Person Healing

Jess is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (MA, RCC) who brings warmth, humour, and wholehearted presence into the therapy space. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care and a deep respect for each person’s autonomy, history, and goals. Jess cares about the whole person, their story, values, body, relationships, and identity, and helps clients move toward healing with safety, insight, and steady support. Whether you’re working through spiritual trauma, navigating major transitions, or trying to feel more like yourself again, Jess offers a space where growth and authenticity are truly welcome.

Who Jess Works With

Jess works with adults and youth, especially those navigating spiritual trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and identity shifts. She also supports university students who are under pressure to perform, find direction, or navigate the intensity of emerging adulthood.

Jess also has a special interest in working with athletes, including elite performers, those experiencing performance anxiety, and those recovering from abusive or harmful experiences with coaches. She brings both attunement and directness to this work, helping athletes reconnect with themselves outside of performance metrics and reclaim a sense of agency.

Her clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and leave sessions feeling a little more grounded and a little less alone.

  • Adults navigating religious deconstruction, grief, anxiety, or self-doubt can find support with Jess, who helps them make sense of their experiences, regain a sense of agency, and connect with a more authentic version of themselves.

  • Youths facing pressure to figure things out, name what they want, or understand who they are can find support with Jess, who helps them build confidence, clarity, and a felt sense of self.

To help clients reconnect with their physical and emotional selves in safe, manageable ways.

  • Relational and Attachment-Based Work

To explore how past and present relationships shape our sense of self and connection.

To support clients in deconstructing painful belief systems and reclaiming a sense of worth and agency.

What To Expect

Sessions with Jess are warm, genuine, and collaborative. You can expect a mix of depth and lightness, insight and self-trust, humour and hope. Jess listens closely, reflects thoughtfully, and helps untangle what feels complicated or heavy. You set the pace, and she follows, always checking in, always honouring your readiness.

Clients often say they feel less alone, more confident, and more connected to who they are and what they need. Whether you’re unpacking deep pain or searching for direction, Jess offers a space that is compassionate, curious, and never rushed.

Please note: Jess currently does not have availability for sessions after 4:00 PM.

Outside The Therapy Room

Outside of sessions, you can find Jess playing softball, sipping a Coke Zero, or trying to resist adopting every dog she meets. She loves video games and board games, time with close friends, music that hits the heart, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays. A good fire, a meaningful song, or a quiet moment in nature are some of her favourite ways to reset.

Online and In-Person Therapy in British Columbia

Jess offers therapy both online and in person, making it easy to access support in the way that feels best for you. In-person sessions are available at our Cloverdale office, while online therapy is conducted through secure JaneApp video sessions. Whether you're in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, or a rural town across BC, Jess creates a grounded, accessible space to work on what matters most to you.
