Our Approach to Therapist Matching
The relationship between you and your therapist is the best predictor of successful therapy. We do not assign clients to the next available trauma therapist. Instead, our intake coordinator takes the time to understand your needs, goals, and preferences. You are then offered recommendations for one or more trauma therapists who may be a strong match.
We encourage you to explore our counselling team, reflect on what feels right for you, and even meet with more than one therapist for a free consultation before deciding how you would like to proceed.
Our team of Registered Clinical Counsellors provide trauma therapy grounded in evidence-based care.
In addition to supporting clients with trauma we offer therapy for anxiety, stress, depression, grief, and loss.
We support individuals, couples, families, and youth through mind-body approaches including
EMDR, IFS, DBT, Somatic Therapy, and Emotion Focused (EFT) that target change at the nervous system level.
Therapy is available in-person at our Surrey clinic or online for clients anywhere in British Columbia.

Our team has been carefully selected to provide high-quality and evidence-based trauma-informed therapy. We work with a diversity of issues and the effects of traumatic life experiences - such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem and relational issues - but the way that we do therapy is always informed by our foundational understanding of trauma and how it impacts our brains, bodies, lives and relationships. We are unified in our approaches to counselling and our commitment to seeing our clients’ lives changed for the better.
